Automotive Keys 2019-2023 Ram 1500 Pickup / 4-Button Smart Key Vancouver

Most four button Ram 1500 fobs add remote start to the basic lock, unlock and panic. A few use the fourth button for the tailgate or air suspension, which is why the icon on your existing fob is the best guide. If it is a circular arrow, this is your key; if it shows a tailgate or a lowered truck, look at the matching listing or ask us. Remote start is the button people miss the most, especially through the wet, cold months. If yours has stopped working, check the fob battery before anything else. Remote start often fails first because it needs the strongest signal, and a new coin cell frequently brings it back. If the battery is not the problem, the fob may be damaged. Ram fobs ride on key rings with heavy tools and get dropped onto concrete, so cracked boards are common. A new fob restores all four functions. We program it at the truck through the diagnostic port, with the truck present and the registration and photo ID on hand. The mechanical key inside the fob is cut to your driver's door on our code machine. With one fob still working, adding another is quick; without one, we still make a new key at the truck.
