Automotive Keys 2019-2023 Ram 1500 Pickup / 6-Button Smart Key Vancouver

Six buttons is the most a Ram 1500 fob carries. On top of lock, unlock and panic, it normally controls remote start, the tailgate and the air suspension. Trucks with all three features, mostly upper trims, came with this fob. If your truck lacks any one of them, you probably need a version with fewer buttons. Is this the same fob as the Longhorn listing? The shell and button count match, and both suit fully optioned 1500s, but we confirm against your trim before programming. Send us the VIN or a photo of your current fob and we will check. Six-button fobs see a lot of wear, mainly on the remote start and tailgate buttons. If one button has stopped responding, try a new battery first. If several have, or the fob shows cracks, it is time to replace it. The new fob is registered to the truck through its diagnostic port, which needs the truck present along with the registration and your ID. Lost fobs can be removed during the same visit. The emergency key inside is cut to your driver's door lock so you can still get in on a dead battery. We work from 4105 Macdonald St or on a mobile call.
