Automotive Keys 2019 Toyota RAV4 / 3-Buton Remote Flip Key Vancouver

2019 was the first year of the fifth-generation RAV4, and while most were sold with push start, some trims and fleet units shipped with a turned key. This three button flip key is for those: lock, unlock and panic, with no hatch button. Is it your key? Look at how you start the vehicle. A start button on the dash means you need a smart key, not this. A key that turns in the column means this style is likely right, though Toyota changed keys between generations, so a 2018 RAV4 is not the same. Give us your VIN if you want us to confirm. Toyota immobilisers check the transponder chip in the key head every time the engine is started. A key cut correctly but not programmed will open doors and not much else. We program the chip and the remote together at the vehicle, which means the RAV4 needs to be present, along with its registration and your photo ID. The blade is cut to code on our machine. Flip keys fail mostly at the hinge, so if yours wobbles or will not stay open, replacing it before it snaps is a good idea. We can do the work at the shop or at your driveway.
