Automotive Keys 2020-2024 Mazda CX-30 CX-50 / 4-Button Smart Key Vancouver

Mazda's Advanced Keyless system has been standard on the CX-30 and the CX-50 since each one launched, which our Mazda page states plainly, and this four button smart key is the fob for both across 2020 to 2024. Neither vehicle offers a turn key, so if you have lost a fob for one of these the answer is always a proximity fob, never a cut key. The fob unlocks the doors when you touch the handle with it on you, starts the engine from the button on the dash, and the four buttons typically cover lock, unlock, the liftgate and the alarm. A short emergency blade is sheathed inside the fob for the driver's door and we cut that blade while the fob is with us. Programming for the current CX range is done at the kerb through the diagnostic port, which is the method our Mazda page describes for these vehicles, and it is done with the car present: at 4105 Macdonald St in Vancouver or at the address where the CX-30 or CX-50 is parked. A dealership does not enter into it. When you still have a working fob, the new one is written beside it in a short appointment. When you have none, the immobiliser is read at the vehicle and a fresh fob written, with the missing fob voided so it can no longer open or start the car, and that version takes longer. This is the complete fob with its board inside. If your existing fob still works and only the case has cracked, ask about a shell, the empty housing into which we move your original electronics without touching the programming. The failure on this slim style is gradual. The fob starts working only from arm's length, then only when pressed against the start button, and the dash shows a key battery warning; a fresh cell and a resync cures it and costs a fraction of a new fob.
