Not every 2021-2022 Tucson came with push button start. Trims with a regular turn ignition use a folding remote key like this one, where the metal blade springs out of the head when you press the release. Four buttons normally cover lock, unlock, the hatch and panic. The flip mechanism is also the part that wears: a weak spring or a cracked pivot is the usual reason people replace these, along with buttons worn smooth. Because the blade turns the ignition, it has to be cut accurately to your Tucson and then the chip in the head has to be added to the car's immobiliser, otherwise the engine cranks and shuts off or will not crank at all. We handle both. The cutting can be done on our code machine or at the car, but programming always needs the Tucson there with you, your registration and photo ID. If your Tucson starts with a button on the dash rather than a key in the column, you need the smart key version instead, so check that first. Adding a spare while you still have a working key is simpler than replacing the last one.
