Automotive Keys 2021-2023 Hyundai Elantra / 4-Button Remote Flip Key Vancouver

Your 2021-2023 Elantra takes this key if you put a blade in the steering column to start it. Hyundai sold the seventh-generation Elantra with both a flip key and a push-start smart key, and the two are not interchangeable, so a quick look at your dash settles which one you need. The flip key folds its blade into the head for the pocket and snaps it out when you press the side button. Four buttons usually handle lock, unlock, trunk and panic. Inside the head is the transponder that the immobiliser checks every time you turn the key, which is why a key that is only cut will open the doors but not run the engine. We cut the blade, either to code or by reading your existing key, and then program the chip and remote to the Elantra with the car there. Bring your registration and photo ID. The most frequent failure on these keys is the flip spring or the pivot pin wearing out, leaving a blade that flops or will not lock open. A new key solves that, and it is a good moment to add a spare. Phone 604-734-7233 to book.
