Automotive Keys 2021-2024 Chevrolet Suburban Tahoe / 6-Button Smart Key Vancouver

Suburban and Tahoe share their platform, and from 2021 to 2024 the better-equipped ones shipped with this six-button proximity key. Expect lock, unlock, panic, remote start and two rear controls, usually the power liftgate and a second hatch-related function depending on the options on your SUV. Fewer buttons on your original fob means you need a different listing. A six-button fob added to an SUV without those features will still start it, but the extra buttons will have nothing to operate. As with any smart key, the vehicle has to learn this one before it does anything. We program it through the SUV's diagnostic connection, and that means the Suburban or Tahoe needs to be there with you, your registration and a photo ID. The emergency blade inside the fob gets cut to your door lock, because that is your way in if the fob battery or the vehicle battery dies. Families with three rows of seats tend to have keys go missing in strollers and sports bags, and if you still have one key, a spare is the shorter job.
