Automotive Keys 2022-2024 Honda Accord / 5-Button Smart Key Vancouver

A five-button Accord fob usually signals a car with factory remote start. Next to lock, unlock, trunk and panic, the fifth button starts the engine from outside, a feature many Accord owners in our climate use every winter. Honda sold these model years with more than one fob layout, so match your button count or ask us to confirm for your trim; the 2023 redesign also matters when choosing a key. The Accord senses this key at the door handles and at the start button, so it never goes in a slot. The emergency key inside the fob is the way in if the coin cell dies, and we cut it to your door lock. Programming registers the new fob to the car's immobiliser and keyless system, and it is done with the Accord present plus registration and photo ID. A remote start that has stopped working while the other buttons still respond is often a battery that is too weak for the longer transmission, so test a fresh cell first. If you are down to your last key, a spare now is far easier than an all-keys-lost job later. We can program at our Vancouver shop or at your driveway.
