Automotive Keys 2023 Chevrolet Silverado / 4-Button Smart Key Vancouver

Some 2023 Silverados carry a four-button proximity fob rather than the five-button version, typically because the truck has no remote start or no remote tailgate function. Lock, unlock, panic and one more control make up the face, and which one that is depends on how the truck was built. Look at your existing key or tell us your trim, and we will confirm. Fitting the correct fob matters more than people expect. A key with buttons your truck does not support will start it, but a key missing a button you use every day is a nuisance. The programming step is the same either way: we connect to the Silverado, add the new fob to its stored keys and test the door handles and start button with it. That is done with the truck present, and we check the registration and your photo ID beforehand. We also cut the fob's built-in emergency blade so you can unlock the door when the battery is flat. Keys left on a tailgate and driven off with are a classic way to lose one. If you still have a spare, adding another is quick work compared with replacing every key. Mobile service is available across the city.
