Six buttons on a Chrysler-group fob almost always means a minivan. Next to lock, unlock and panic, the extra three run the left and right power sliding doors and the power liftgate. Those door buttons get pressed constantly by every passenger, so on a family van they are often the first to wear through. This is the housing only. We open your old fob, transfer the circuit board into this case, and close it up. Because the board is the same one your van already knows, nothing is reprogrammed, and the van does not need to be present. Before ordering, line up your fob against this one. The board has to match the button layout exactly: a six-button board will not sit correctly in a four-button case, and the reverse is also true. If your van has only one power sliding door, the layout may differ, so ask us to confirm for your trim and year. If the board itself has cracked, or the fob went through the washing machine, a shell will not revive it. In that case you need a new fob programmed to the van at our counter or on a mobile call.
