Volkswagen made more than one version of its four-button flip key over these years, and the differences are inside: board revisions, transmitter frequency, and the immobiliser generation the chip is meant for. That is why we list more than one, and why it is worth taking a minute to get the right one before ordering. The simplest way to check is to look at your old key. Pop it apart at the seam if you are comfortable doing so, or just bring it in, and we can compare the board's part markings.
