The 2007 and 2008 TL is one of the Acuras that came with a folding key, a design some owners love and some find fragile. Press the side button and the blade swings out from a body holding four buttons, usually lock, unlock, trunk and panic. Two model years is a narrow window, and that is intentional: the TL's key from these years differs from the ones before and after, and buying by year and model avoids a mismatch. Common reasons we see TL owners: the blade flops loosely on a worn pivot, the case has cracked from a drop, or the original key and its spare were lost together. If only the case is damaged and the remote still works, ask about a shell. If the key is lost or the board is dead, you need this full key. The blade is cut on our code machine, then the transponder and the remote are programmed to the TL. Please bring the car, the registration and photo ID. If one key still works, we add the new one alongside it. If no key is left, we make one from scratch at the car.
