The sixth button is what sets this Volvo key apart. Alongside lock, unlock, panic, trunk and lights, it has the PCC button, short for Personal Car Communicator. Press it and indicator lights on the fob report back on the car, such as whether it is locked or whether the alarm has gone off. The old record describes this as an original OEM unit, FCC ID KR55WK49266, with a CR2430 battery and part numbers 31419131 and 30659502. An aftermarket emergency key, EKB-VOL-001, is included, and the test key is HU101. Volvo smart keys are programmed to the car with diagnostic equipment, so the vehicle needs to be with us or we come to it. Bring the registration, photo ID and any fobs you still have. If none remain, we do all keys lost at the car. We cut the included emergency blade on our code machine to your door lock. Do not skip that step: with a flat fob, it is the only way into the car.
