Automotive Keys 2008-2018 Volvo S60 V60 XC60 XC70 / 5-Button Smart Key Vancouver

Original Volvo electronics in a fresh case: this five-button smart key is a refurbished OEM unit, meaning the factory circuit board with FCC ID KR55WK49264 and its Philips ID 46 chip has been moved into a new housing. It fits the 2008 to 2018 S60, V60, XC60 and XC70, references part number 30659637, runs at 434 MHz and takes a CR2450 battery. The appeal of a recased key is simple. You get Volvo's own board, which some owners prefer, without the worn buttons and scuffed case of a used fob. Electronically it behaves like a new original, and it must still be programmed to your vehicle before it will start the car. That programming is done with the Volvo connected to diagnostic equipment, either at our shop or on a mobile visit, and we need the registration and owner's ID. The emergency key that comes with it is aftermarket, cut on the HU101 blade to your door lock. Volvo owners who only need a spare, and still have a working key, often find this the sensible middle option. Phone 604-734-7233 to check the fit for your car.
