Honda keys are marked by their blade family and chip, and this one is an HO05 blade with a G chip. The blade is the laser-cut, edge-milled style Honda uses on many cars, and the G chip is the transponder generation Honda moved to in this period. Some Hondas show the chip letter stamped on the blade; if yours says G, that is a good sign you are in the right place. It is a plain transponder key, without remote buttons. Owners buy it as a cheap spare to sit in a drawer or wallet, or as a valet key, while their remote head key stays on the ring.
