Automotive Keys 2016-2019 Mazda CX-5 / CX-9 / 4-Button Smart Key w/ Hatch Vancouver

Two Mazda fobs from these years look almost the same; this is the one with a hatch button. On CX-5 and CX-9 models equipped with a power liftgate, a button on the fob opens the rear hatch, and this key carries it alongside lock, unlock and panic. If your original fob has the hatch icon, choose this one; if it does not, the standard version is the better match, because the button layout matters for the circuit inside as well as the look. Mazda's proximity system lets you unlock with the request button on the door handle and start with the push button while the fob stays in your bag. When the battery runs low, there is a slim mechanical key inside the fob for the driver's door, and we cut it to your lock so it actually works. The fob is programmed to the vehicle with the SUV on site. Bring the registration and photo ID. Whether you are adding a second key or replacing the only one, we do it at the vehicle. Ask us to confirm fitment for your year and trim.
