Automotive Keys 2016-2019 Mazda CX-5 CX-9 / 4-Button Smart Key Vancouver

This is the standard 4-button fob for CX-5 and CX-9 models of these years, as opposed to the version that adds a power hatch button. Line your current fob up against the photo before ordering. If your original has a hatch icon on it, you want the other listing. Mazda's keyless system works on proximity: walk up, press the small button on the door handle, sit down, press start. In practice the fob only reminds you it exists when its coin cell gets weak, typically shown as a key warning in the cluster, or when it gets lost in the move between two households. To replace it, we cut the emergency key that sits inside the fob to your driver's door on our code machine, then program the fob to your CX-5 or CX-9 with the SUV present. Bring the vehicle registration and photo ID, and any other key you have, since the vehicle may need to see existing keys during programming. Our counter is at 4105 Macdonald St, and we also come to you. Ask us to confirm compatibility for your trim and year.
