Chevrolet crossovers and SUVs with a powered rear hatch and remote start got this five button fob. Reading down the face you will usually find lock, unlock, remote start, the hatch button and panic. The hatch button is the difference that matters: it opens the liftgate from across the parking lot, and on vehicles with a power liftgate a long press closes it too. If your vehicle has a trunk rather than a hatch, look at the icon on your fob. A trunk icon or a pickup tailgate icon points to a different version of this key. Five button fobs see heavy use, and the remote start and hatch buttons are often the first to stop responding. A new shell and board solve that. The emergency blade inside opens the driver's door by hand and is cut to your lock on our code machine, so it works on the day the fob's battery doesn't. Programming is done with the vehicle present through the diagnostic port. Bring the registration and photo ID. If you have a working fob, the new one is added alongside it; if not, we can program from scratch as an all-keys-lost job.
