Automotive Keys 2019-2021 Dodge Ram / 5-Button Smart Key Vancouver

On a Ram fob with five buttons, the two extras beyond lock, unlock and panic are usually remote start and the tailgate release. That combination was common on mid and upper trims of the new-generation Ram from 2019 to 2021, and it is what this listing replaces. Check one thing before you order: is your truck the new body or the Ram Classic, which carried on the older design during these years? The keys are different. The new body has a larger grille and a more modern cab; the VIN settles it if you are not sure. A flat fob battery is the most common cause of a no-key warning on the dash, and it is worth trying a new coin cell first. If the fob still is not recognised, or if the case is cracked and buttons are dead, a replacement is the fix. We start by cutting the fob's emergency key to your door on a code machine. Then we program the fob at the truck through the diagnostic port, which means bringing the Ram and the registration and photo ID. If you have lost one fob and still have another, adding the replacement is easy. If both are gone, we still do it at the truck.
