Automotive Keys 2021-2022 GMC Yukon / 5-Button Smart Key Vancouver

Count the buttons on your Yukon fob before ordering, because GM built the 2021-2022 Yukon with both a five-button and a six-button smart key. This is the five-button one. On most trucks that means lock, unlock, panic, remote start and a liftgate button, while the six-button key adds a second rear function on Yukons fitted with a power liftgate and other options. If your SUV has a feature the five-button layout leaves out, it simply will not get a button; the key still starts the vehicle. A smart key like this talks to the Yukon by radio, so the engine will only start once the fob has been added to the vehicle's memory. We do that programming with the Yukon present, after checking the registration and your photo ID. The hidden emergency blade inside the fob gets cut to your door so you are not stranded when the battery dies. Spares are straightforward when one working key is still around. When all of them are lost, plan on us coming to the vehicle, since it has to be there anyway. Call 604-734-7233 and tell us the year and trim so we can confirm the right fob.
