Automotive Keys 2021-2024 Chevrolet / 5-Button Smart Key Vancouver

Chevrolet shared this five-button proximity key across several 2021-2024 models, so the important question is not just the brand but whether your vehicle, year and button layout line up. Tell us the model and we will confirm it before anything is programmed. The usual layout is lock, unlock, remote start, panic and one rear-access button, which is the liftgate on SUVs and sometimes a tailgate or trunk release elsewhere. The key works by proximity: the car reads it through the door handle and the start button, so there is nothing to put in an ignition. A removable blade lives inside for the door lock, and we cut it to your vehicle. Programming adds the new fob to the vehicle's list of known keys, done with the vehicle present plus registration and photo ID. Owners who still have one key usually just want a spare, which is the quicker case. If all the keys are lost, we can still make one, but the job involves more steps at the vehicle. Cold Vancouver mornings are hard on weak batteries, so if your fob range has dropped, a new cell may be all you need.
