Acura owners who skipped the optional remote, or whose remote died years ago, still need the key that actually starts the car. This listing is the plain chipped ignition key used across a long stretch of Acura production, from the Integra and the first TL and CL through to the late-2000s RSX and TSX, where those models used a separate fob rather than a remote head. Two quick checks tell you whether this is your key. The blade is fixed, with cuts along the edges, and the head has no buttons. If yours has lock and unlock buttons built into the head, you want a remote head key instead. The blade gets cut on our code machine, which means we can make it from the lock code or from your existing key, even a badly worn one. The chip then has to be registered to the car.
