Automotive Keys Toyota Programmable Super Transponder Key Vancouver

Toyota used a handful of chip types over the transponder years, and a programmable key like this one is designed to be configured to the type your vehicle needs rather than being locked to one chip from the factory. That flexibility makes it a practical spare for a range of older Toyotas, but compatibility is not universal, so we check your model and year before committing and will steer you to a dedicated key if that suits better. The work has two stages. First, we set up the key's transponder with our equipment so it behaves like the chip your Toyota expects, and cut the blade to your ignition. Second, we program it to the vehicle, which needs the car present along with its registration and your photo ID. Toyota systems from this era are straightforward to add a key to while one working key remains; with none, we originate a key at the car. Owners of older Corollas, Camrys and Tacomas tend to like this option for a second key that stays in the glovebox or with a family member.
