Key fob replacement and car key replacement in Vancouver

At the shop or at your car

We cut and program the key at our shop at 4105 Macdonald St, or we do the work at your vehicle. We run an open shop and a mobile service, so you can choose whichever suits your situation.

We beat dealership prices on the same OEM keys

For the same OEM key, we beat dealership prices. Aftermarket keys are available too, so you can compare both before you decide.

OEM or aftermarket key

An OEM key is the manufacturer's own part, the one a dealership would order. An aftermarket key is made by another company to work with the same vehicle and usually costs less. Tell us which you prefer and we'll explain what is available for your car.

What to bring

Proof of ownership and photo ID, and any key you still have. Search your year, make and model above to see matching keys, then book it from the same page.

Fobik keys

A fobik is the chunky one-piece fob that slots into the dash rather than turning in a barrel, used across Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram from the mid 2000s. There is no separate blade: the emergency key hides inside the case. We stock aftermarket fobiks, program them to the vehicle at 4105 Macdonald Street, and cut the hidden blade at the same time. Bring the vehicle, your ownership and photo ID. Call 604-734-7233 with the year and model to check stock before you drive over.

Flip keys

A flip key folds its blade into the remote housing, so a broken hinge or a worn spring is the usual reason one comes across the counter rather than the electronics failing. Volkswagen, Audi, Kia, Hyundai and Chevrolet all used them. We cut the blade, transfer or replace the board and transponder, and test the buttons and the start before you leave. If the case is the only problem, a shell is the cheaper repair: ask and we will tell you which one your key needs.

Find the part, call the shop, pick it up or have it fitted.

Prices and stock change often, so we confirm both by phone before we cut, program or pull anything.

Automotive Keys questions, answered.

Match your key

The FCC ID on the back of your fob, or the part number on the key, tells us exactly which one fits. Programming is done at the counter or at your car.

Still unsure? Call 604-734-7233. A real person picks up.

Can you program a key from this page?

Yes. Call with the SKU and we cut and program it at the counter or at your car.

What if my car is not listed?

Call with the year, make and model. We can often still supply and program one.

Do I need the car?

For programming, yes.
